I saw my chiropractor today and it didn’t help me as much as I’d like. The pain in my lower back is better but I’m still having problems with my knee. I can’t squat or kneel and I feel pain on the front side of my knee when I walk or climb the stairs. I asked him about the brace and he said not to get one, as they tend to mask the problem. Also, muscle weakening may occur as the brace takes over, leading to more issues and problems down the road.

I’m starting yoga this weekend and am hoping that I can get my knee (actually my hip which is hyperextending my knee) back in place by stretching. Yoga will help, as well as a good massage tomorrow. At least I’ve got the massage going for me—I can’t wait for that! Back to icing my knee and elevating it…
